This class focuses on the face and figure in drawing, as well as incorporating modeling clay to create these forms. Students will practice proper proportions of the body and face, as well as exaggeration techniques. They will explore movement in their gesture sketches, and also create clay figures and busts to better understand proportions in a 3-dimensional format. All drawing tools, papers, and nonfiring clay will be provided.

Knitting without using needles. Create fun and unique items with yarn. Once you learn the basic steps you can create scarves, handbags, jewelry, blankets and more. All yarns are provided.

A mixed media art class of drawing, painting, pastels and collage put together making "pop-out art." We will be having fun gluing, cutting and dipping into our imagination to bring out those creative thoughts we see. Our imagination will come to reality in wonderful pieces of art. Fun art projects as session I, only different projects on the mixed media nature. We will be exploring different combinations of mediums creating work from what we see around us. The teachers supply tons of beads to create one-of-a-kind neckrings, bracelets and earrings. You will learn jewelry basic steps so you make unique jewelry for yourself, family and friends. All beads and jewelry supplies are provided.

Mother and child will discover bead making together. Learn how to make your own beaded necklace, neckring and bracelet. The class is fun for girls and boys. All bead and jewelry supplies are provided.

Sand, prime, create a design and seal. Learn all steps to create art on furniture and floor mats. Small furniture, floor mat, paints, brushes are provided.

This class explores the use of color in painting, with monochromatic designs, positive and negative images, complementary colors, and harmonious compositions. Students will gain brush control and learn techniques for creating beautiful paintings. All paints, brushes, papers and canvas are provided.

We will explore Asian painting, learning to use the oriental brush. Bamboo, orchids, birds and fish will all be the subjects we will work on. Our finished pieces will be paintings to frame. All art supplies are provided.

This class will cover all the basics of drawing, including creating volume through shading and highlighting, applying texture, using proportion, as well as strategies for improving composition and natural perspective. Students will create an abstract scene, a still life, and an architectural drawing. All drawing materials, coloring tools and papers are provided.

This class will introduce you to the joys of two nonfiring clays, Sculpey and Model Magic. Participants will create finger or stick puppets, refrigerator magnets, animal sculptures, and fun jewelry. Jewelry techniques will include caning and millefiori. Learn the techniques of attaching, texturing and embellishing your creations. Your materials include all the clay, use of specialty tools and extruders, jewelry findings and embellishments.

This class focuses on animals in art, using a variety of media, including pencil, pen, paint, and nonfiring clays. Students will draw, color and form animals. They will explore ways of creating textures such as fur, fins, scales and feathers. All paints, brushes, papers and clay are provided.

Try various techniques to create collages using words, images, found objects, fabrics and papers. Create artwork that is funny, symbolic, meaningful, textural and exciting, using these different materials. All materials are provided, though some students may choose to bring photos from home for one of their collages.

Learn the fascinating finger knitting method of knitting without needles. Also learn how to make fabulous crochet handbags, bowls or scarves using a variety of yarns and fabrics.

Learn the techniques of creating one-of-a-kind neckrings and unique jewelry using wire. You are encouraged to look in your jewelry box for your beaded jewelry, gemstones and pins that need a facelift or repair and bring the jewels to class to learn how to redesign, repair and make into a pendant. You will receive all the supplies needed to create your new treasures.

Create a one of a kind woven treasure bag. No experience in weaving is necessary. Materials provided include loom ready to begin weaving, needle and assortment of yarn and fiber kits.
